I love to smile! Ok ok, I know I'm not smiling in my profile pic but really I love to smile. The video above makes me smile and laugh!

I work in a big building and a few of the people I work with are are a bit grumpy. I always try to say hi and smile at people everyday.

I remember one guy whom I would regularly pass the corridor. I would smile and say hi but he would never respond! He always seemed grumpy. Me being me, I refused to give up.
So for 3 months, every time I saw this guy, I would say hi and smile but he was always grumpy.

Then finally, after about 3 months, I was walking down the corridor and he saw me in the distance. I didn't see him. He shouted down the corridor at me, "How you doing mate!" He greeted me like a long lost friend! He was geniunely happy to see me. I was shocked. Since then whenever I see him, I say hi and smile, and he smiles back! I even went to him, a couple of times, to get advice, since he works the in department that could help me, and help me he did!

So I just wanted to encourage you guys, smile!! :D

Here is a few reasons to smile more:

-Smiling makes you feel better.
-Smiling helps you make friends.
-Smiling makes you more attractive.
-Smiling helps you relax if you are stressed out.
-Smiling is contagious! (even though it took my collegue 3 months to smile back, he did in the end!)
-Smiling might just make someone else's day better, you never know what problems they are facing.

Next time you look in the mirror, try smiling at yourself!

If you find it hard to smile try:

-remember something that makes you laugh, like a joke.
-make faces at yourself in the mirror
-listen to a song that makes you feel good
-hang out with people that make you smile!

and remember, a genuine smile is all in the eyes!

Hahahaha, I reckon if more people smile then more people will care about each other. Then we are one step closer to bringing an iCare revolution!!
