The movie, the book, if you are not reading it, your watching it with your mates. What is it about this story that pulls the reader and audiences in?
Twilight sees Bella Swan falling in love with Edward, who happens to be a vampire. A story of two people from different worlds, drawn together by their love for one another, willing to risk it all for the sake of one thing . . . Love.
Scrape the love theme out and you get a movie about vampires and yet place a love theme at the heart of it, and you get a film that attracts masses of people, books that once you get reading you can't put down. Why is it that when it comes to love, we crave it, we are drawn to it and for some we would do almost anything to get it?
Could it be that there is something in all of us that yearns to experience love? Could it be that maybe we are relationship-wired? And when i say that i don’t mean boy and girl relationships? I am talking about all types of relationships. You could be a sister, a brother, a friend, a cousin, a daughter, a son, a boyfriend, a girlfriend. All of these are relationships, some may not be so great, others like our friends, we love and we spend time building into them.
Why do we like hanging out with our mates rather than be alone? Why do our hearts melt when we find out the person we like likes us back? Or why are we crashed when we discover that the person we like doesn’t like us? When our loved ones disappoint us, It can weigh us down. When we feel unloved, it’s as though, there is no reason to live. Love has the power to heal you. Love builds you, Love, as a lot of singers have sung is what makes the world go round.
You might be looking for an Edward Cullen (without the vampire) or a Bella Swan, someone to love you completely, then perhaps you will feel like you are someone.
Someone can love you, but you first must be happy with being you. You first must know that you are already someone. Who knows what seeds you carry in you? Seeds? Its just another word for potential. Who knows where those seeds could take you, if you just reach out and touch someone else, rather than waiting for a certain someone to touch your life with love, why not reach out to friends that might be hurting, family that might need your time? Why not be the change, be the person that loves, rather than waiting for someone to love you. Go the extra mile. Who knows you might change someone’s life.
